Sciath na Scol

Gaelic football, camogie and hurling are all provided for within the school. We compete in Sciath na Scol and The INTO Mini Sevens competitions each year as well as organising in-school blitz competitions for the younger players. Erins Own Coaching Scheme provides us with an in-school coach for GAA and a number of teachers are involved in training the children after school hours.

Developing the skills, actively involving the children and having fun is what the training is all about! We have been very fortunate in contesting numerous finals throughout the years, with many very happy trips to Páirc Uí Rinn and Páirc Uí Caoimh. We have also been lucky enough to win the county title in mini sevens on three occasions in camogie, hurling and girl’s football, which are unbelievable achievements never to be forgotten.
