About SNCN

Scoil Náisiúnta an Chroí Naofa, Glounthaune is a large rural co-educational primary school situated approximately 4 miles from the city on the east side. We cater for in excess of 440 pupils who come to us in the main from Glounthaune parish as well as a number of pupils from the surrounding parishes of Glanmire, Carrightohill, Cobh and Midleton.

We are a mainstream school with 17 mainstream classes and one special class comprising of 7 children who have been diagnosed with a Specific Speech and Language Impairment. We also have a number of Special Education teachers who teach children with special educational needs.
